Company Profile

David Pennachetti founded Wine Guru Services, LLC in 2007. The company works with a variety of restaurant and hotel clients to assist them with their beverage programs including offerings, menu design, cocktail development and training. The company also offers corporate and consumer wine tasting events in Dallas and across the country. David also hosts small groups and acts a tour guide to wineries, distilleries and breweries across the world including accommodation, dining and sightseeing coordination.

David has 25 years of beverage experience, including 8 years as Beverage Director for Maggiano’s Little Italy. He's worked with wineries around the world to develop programs and events nationwide.

In 2005, David was awarded the Cheers Magazine Beverage Excellence Award for Best Chain Restaurant Wine Program. The award recognized his creative and open approach to developing a program to help assist consumers order wine.

As member of the hospitality industry, David has been a featured speaker at national conferences including the Nightclub & Bar Show, National Restaurant Association Show and Cheers Conference. He also contributes articles to a variety of industry publications throughout the year.

As a member of the Society of Wine Educators, David is committed to developing his skills and holds an Introductory Certificate from the Court of Mater Sommeliers.
